Rating System

The MCML maintains a ranking, updated every meet, of the top scorers. To account for variations in topic difficulty, participants are rated by the following system.

Category Ratings

Ratings for each category represent the average score for a team of five. Higher ratings indicate easier categories.

Individual Ratings

Individual ratings are based on the average of two separate formulas.
